Research Staff, Irish Grass-fed Dairy
Lauren McGuinness (BSc) is an MSc student in Sensory Science. Her current work with Food for Health Ireland involves examining the effect of different feed types on the sensory properties of dairy products. She graduated with a BSc in Food Science in 2018 and her final year research project involved evaluating bitter compounds using an electronic tongue. She then worked as a quality technician in Gempack Foods Ltd before returning to UCD in January 2020.
